Document Summary
Prof gives excellent examples to help remember the material :d. Consent form; hard copy and make sure to circle your name and number of hours. Online; screenshot and print it out and give it to the prof. No extra work to catch up at the end! Empiricism: learn about the world by observations, everything we learn comes from our experiences. Stimulus and response: something happens to you, you learn from it and you act a certain way, reacting to the environment, not a conscious thought; unconscious response to the environment. Learning is an enduring change in the mechanisms of behavior involving specific stimuli and/or responses that results from prior experience with those or similar stimuli and responses . When you learn something, it ultimately change you in some way: ie the way you feel and act. Specific stimuli and response based on the previous stimulus and response. That doesn"t involve learning: fatigue, flight or fight response.
