Can see commonalities and differences; look at people as larger groups. Privilege and discrimination: how would you explain intersectionality, in your own words. Our lives are shaped by different factors and this makes our lives multi-dimensional. Not one social location can explain a person"s experience. Since each person is unique and shaped by their different social locations (race, ethnicity, gender, class, etc. ) then privilege and oppression can be felt simultaneously.
