Stressors (i. e. , demands, situations or events) trigger physical and emotional reactions that are subjectively perceived to be stressful. The physical and emotional reactions to the stressor is known as the stress response is the general physiological and emotional state that accompanies the stress response. The individual"s own thoughts and perceptions determine whether a demand, situation, or event is stressful. The same as demand, situation, or event may evoke different levels of stress for different individuals. It is comprised of sympathetic nervous system and parasympathetic nervous system. Hypothalamus stimulates adrenal glands to release epinephrine (aka adrenaline)
