Document Summary

Earth atmosphere provides us with 3 essential things nd. Ultimate source for earliest oxygen on this planet: ciano bacteria. Sources of green house gasses: volcanoes, wetlands, lakes, termites, forest fires, cars, factories, cement production, burning of forests, Difference between climate and weather: the time, weather changes on a daily basis, climate is more trends over years. Surface temperature changes are greenhouse gasses change. Currently our atmosphere contains about 200 billion tons of carbon dioxide. Every time c02 doubles in the atmosphere, the global temperature goes up by 3 degrees. A) direct: hawaii, south pole, north pole, these locations were chosen because one hawaii is in the middle of the pacific, away from land, so there"s less of an impact. There"s mountains where measurements are taken: there has been a steady increase since 1960. In winter, there is less vegetative growth so they are producing less c02 where as in the summer plants are alive and well and producing more c02.
