Formal political institutions exclude children (elections, parliaments, parties, etc. ) but attempt to mobilize youth for their own ends. A lot of political things happen outside of formal institutions. Crc (12. 1) specifies for children"s right to be heard, but politics implies that what they say ought to influence the world they live in. Children may be excluded from formal politics, but they have consistently shown to be political. In april, 2013, students at bal mandir school in kaski, nepal, protested physically abuse to education ministry; principal and teachers were fired. Being political in some areas is an everyday thing in life. Children have played the role of vanguard in numerous political movements; china, south africa and palestine (3) generational consciousness. Karl mannheim historical events produces share generational consciousness in young people. Generational consciousness: the idea that people will share a certain amount of ideas with the world. May act as a generational unit in political action.
