Just cause- employer terminates the relationship, and has the right to do so immediately (ie. stealing, constant tardiness, dishonesty) no compensation a. i. Make sure you as the employer have made an effort to fix the employee a. ii. The employer should not pay the employee anything: notice- the employee has an entitlement which forces the employer to give them notice to go look for another job, while being paid b. i. Working notice- employer notifies employee that they will be fired in a certain time period.
