- 1. Face to face interventions
oTrials delivered in house, hospital, or clinical setting
oOne person or a group of psychologists that came up with the
intervention
oMaybe a social worker or welfare support disciplines

oRemote or no therapist input
oEditors key here: creates the psychologist/director’s vision
oDevelopers = psychologists and also DVD developers and
technological experts

oWe need to understand this in order to harness it
- Fundamental changes to world economy:
oMore than in any other time in history: much broader than things like
the conveyor belt
o40% of Australian jobs could be redundant in 10-15 years
More so for men than women
oThe nature of work for ALL occupations will change
Amount of a job that would start to be automated
Needs to adapt and modify to take into account the percentage
of the job that is now automated
oMost impacted:
Manual labour and construction (80% of job taken over)
oPerceptions are much less than what will be reality
oDexterity jobs
oAnd jobs that surround human understanding
Empathy
Test taking may be taken over
Not just the score but the behaviour that we observe that is
interesting
Anxiety and effort etc. and behaviors that may that impact the
test scores
- Our advances can take us anywhere but do we want to go there?
oChild care? Photography?
oHarnessing the technology
oHuman psychologist robots:
Or instead of computers taking anxiety measures to see who
needs immediate therapy after being diagnosed with cancer
(where people don’t tend to respond) if this looked like a
human would response be better
