Rf so at more risk: symptoms appear then are confirmed (go undiagnosed for a while) Cv physiology: cardiac work & myocardial vo2 (mvo2, mvo2 is determined by cardiac work (work of the heart) Intramyocardial wall tension (left ventricular pressure x end diastolic volume), contractility & hr: mvo2 = hr x sbp. Amount of o2 required by the heart muscle. If task requires big increase in hr/bp = big increase in rpp.
