Science is the organized, systematic enterprise that gathers knowledge about the world and condenses the knowledge into testable laws and principles (edward o. wilson, Science refers to a variety of distinct and interrelated parts 1: a set of characteristics methods by means of which knowledge is certified. 2: a stock of accumulated knowledge stemming from the application of these methods.
