Builds on basic concepts and concerns of marxism and feminism. The term critical criminology: confusion and debate around meaning. Used to describe wide range of theoretical and political positions. Some argue and critique of cjs from anything by a conservative perspective: simply equates critical with specific criticisms, rather than identifying a particular analytical framework.
