Lacrimal sulcus (groove) Inside the tear duct – the groove part/ slight
depression
Maxillary bones Top jaw, top layer that teeth attach to

Mandible fossa (hole/opening) The very tip of the mandible, end of the
temporal bone it’s the hole that attaches to the
mandibular condyles
Mandibular condyles The very tip pf the mandible it’s the rounded
edge , attaches to the mandibular fossa

- Sutures= stitching that hold bones together on the skull

Clavicle The collar bone , its superior surface is smooth
and rounded and inferior surface has groove
Acromial end of clavicle Clavicle joins to scapula – its flat
Sternal end of clavicle Clavicle joins to the sternum – knobby end
Subclavian groove A groove on the inferior surface of the body of
the clavicle to which is attached the subclavius
muscle.
Sternum The chest bones (has 3 parts ), ribs attach to this,
sits on top of spine with muscle in between
Manubrium The top section of the sternum
