Green (can leave hospital) vs red (treat immediately) Listen for abnormal audible airway sounds (snoring, hoarse speech, grunting, wheezing) Triage: assignment of degrees of urgency to wounds or illnesses to decide the order of treatment of a large number of patients/ casualties, triage categories. 120min: recognition of seriously ill child = save a child. Child: history and exam, cry, heat, dehydration. Airway: assess, airway is patent and able to be maintained with positioning and suction. Insert airway adjunct (op or np airway, lma) to maintain patent airway or perform ett if airway patency cannot be maintained: appropriate size of adjunct: inner diameter (mm) = (age in years/4) +
