Political or cultural beliefs: to become attached, to become persuaded. Stories speak to us at a fundamental level. Story elements: character, setting, plot, conflict, message. Case study: toyota ad: white guy, family man with kid, beaten down (its hot, walking across hot sand, tired, sweaty), determined, love for daughter, everyday super hero.
