Drug use vs addiction: children= most vulnerable for taking up drugs, depends on 3 factors. =how vulnerable a person may be toward drug use. Some characteristics are more protective than others, some predispose people. Good personal familial role models, personality in terms of resilience. Less potent drugs like cannabis takes 10yrs between first recreational use to the point were you become an addict. For cocaine which is more potent, only takes 5 years to become addicted.
