Biological development e. g. growth of body, organs, hormonal changes, motor skills. Social-emotional development e. g. change in personal and interpersonal relationships, roles and cultural influences. Perceptual development e. g. recognising faces, actions and seeing depth. Degree to which genetic or hereditary influences (nature) and experiential or environmental influences (nurture) determine the kind of person you are.
