The continuing digital exclusion of peoples across the globe is an ongoing social concern. Technology has transformed all aspects of society, including the teaching-learning process. Digital equity and intercultural education both share the goal of promoting opportunity for all people. Digital equity = social justice goal of ensuring that everyone has equal access to technology tools, computers and the internet, knowledge and skills to use these resources to enhance their personal lives. Intercultural education = widespread phenomenon in education and training dealing with the relations between different cultures and nationalities. Intercultural education: focus on educational issues concerning communities and their diversities as digital technologies increase, opportunities for intercultural education arise. Horace mann surveyed public schools and found serious inequities in physical facilities, qualifications of teachers, and availability of books, chalk and writing instruments led to the efforts of equity. Need to provide equitable and high quality education for all students both across and within developed and developing countries.
