Substantive - rights, obligation or duties that you have. eg, one responsibility that companies have it to not print advertisements that lie. Procedural - how are you going to do something about it. eg a cooperation has created an ad that lies. can you sue, get money? steps for doing something in regards to the act that was wrong. Private vs public - private law when you have a dispute between 2 individuals, ie cooperation a & b whereby the government has nothing to do with that relationship. Public law is when the state is involved, the relationship between government and the people.
