We define climate change as the variation to the state of the climate. The first slide includes the definitions of climate change derives from ipcc and unfccc. It has been recognized that the change of climate is due to both internal and external forces and they are related both directly and indirectly to human activity. Anthropogenic climate change gives us an idea of how climate has changed throughout the history. Since the pre-industrial era, the environment is driven mainly by economic and population growth factor. Looking at various graphs, we can see the rise of greenhouse gases. The increase of concentrated carbon dioxide (co2), methane, nitrous oxide (no2) has profoundly impacted the climate. The lecture covers the progressive discovery of climate change:
