Ethics is how we act to make the "right" choice and produce "good behaviour" Are used to assist in deciding the best course of action. What is good, is that which causes the greatest good for the greatest number. Something is bad is the world would be worse off when everyone did it. Eating cultured meat is bad, because it hurts those animals more than it pleases you. Do not steal, because the world would be worse off if everyone did it. Is an approach to ethics that judges the morality of an action based on the action"s adherence to a rule or rules. Deontologists look at rules and duties this perspective focuses on the action to take and doesn"t consider the consequences of the action.
