Developing writing skills; planning (defining audience needs, developing topic knowledge), demonstrations (modelling), shared composition, supported writing, independent writing (gradually withdraw support), publishing & reviewing. Preparation: (2 weeks) decide on purpose and genre, sample texts for immersion and modelling, focus could be whole text or specific part. Modelling: (1 week) identify structure & linguistic features. Joint construction of text: (1 week) using the writing process to construct the text (whole class/group)
