Impulsive control disorder : extreme difficulty in controlling impulses despite negative consequences. Impulsivity is more of a symptom than a disorder since impulsivity is involved in my disorders (many addictive behaviours have impulsive behaviour involved) Dsm-5: updated addiction and related disorders pathological gambling gambling disorder and is only behavioural addiction in the dsm-5. Components of addictive behaviours: continuing behaviour despite negative consequences, diminished control, compulsive engagement, craving, appetite or urge to participate in behaviour.
