Background and context

The levels of the biological organization explain the relationship from the cell level to the organ system level. The tissues are the group of cells that are structurally and functionally related cells that produce a common physiological function of an organ. The four main classifications of tissues include nervous tissue, muscular tissue, epithelial tissue and connective tissue.
