Introduction

In relation to the salaries, benefits, and employment, unions in the United States are a mixed bag. The excellent thing for unions as well as the supporters would be that they earn roughly 20percentage points further than nonunion workers, even after accounting for things like years of industry experience and educational levels. The worrying thing for unionists is that membership in labor unions has already been continuously falling in the United States over the past five decades.
