Background and context

Plasmodium protist is a deadly parasite that kills the vast majority of people worldwide. Plasmodium belongs to the kingdom Protista. They are unicellular eukaryotes and are parasitic for vertebrates and insects. They complete their most of the life cycle in the blood-feeding insects host. Then these hosts transfer them to the vertebrates while feeding for blood.
