Background and context

Animals have adopted different modes of reproduction. Asexual reproduction is very often seen in lower vertebrates, and invertebrates. The higher vertebrate's asexual reproduction is the common mode of reproduction. Animals choose different kinds of reproduction to adapt to their respective environment. Sexual reproduction is advance over asexual reproduction because sexual reproduction is the driving force of evolution.
