Background and context
Ecology is the study of all the environmental elements that contribute to the biosphere's ability to support life. The ecological analysis is carried out at many levels of organization using various model approaches to study ecology. Ecosystem models are used in a range of disciplines, including natural resource management, ecotoxicology, and environmental health, agriculture, and animal conservation, to replicate large-scale studies that would be too costly or immoral to conduct on a genuine ecosystem.
