Background and context

Reproduction is one of the living characters. It creates new organisms and continues the generation of every species one after another. Living organisms are adapted to different reproductive modes. The reproductive mode is broadly two kinds. They are asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction. Asexual reproduction does not result in any genetic variation. Sexual reproduction leads to the variation, reproduction of new species. Many higher vertebrates reproduce sexually including humans.
