Nematodes are also called round worms.
Subphylum -: Eumatozoa .
- They are bilaterally symmetrical and psuedocoelomates.
- Cuticle is the outer protective layer of these organisms.
- Cuticle is hard in most organism to resist all the environmental stressors but in some organisms it may be soft and with some slimy secretions.
- Slimy secretions are secreted by epidermis and epidermis is dead layer.
- In some invertebrates chitin is also pigmented.
