Background and context

The vestibular system is considered one of the significant systems present in our body that helps balance our position, senses, and motion of the body. It primarily consists of 3 semicircular canals. These semicircular canals have otolith organs, namely the utricle and saccule. These organs permit angular acceleration, linear acceleration, and deceleration when the head gets tilted.
