Background and context
The green color of the plants is mainly due to the presence of chlorophyll. In nature six types of chlorophyll are present, but in India mainly two types of chlorophyll including a and b are present. The absorption of the light follows the VIBGYOR. The more the wavelength of the color the lesser it will be absorbed by the pigments.
