Background and context

Plants have two modes of reproduction - sexual and asexual. In asexual reproduction, the plants can propagate on their own by using a part of the parent plant. This mode of reproduction can occur in two ways :
1. Naturally - this includes the way that plants have adapted on their own to propagate in nature asexually.
2. Artificial method - It has been employed by humans to allow plants to grow asexually.
