The muscle is the tissue of the body that mainly serves as a source of strength. Skeletal, smooth and cardiac are the three main types of muscles. Smooth muscles are directly controlled by the nervous system, i.e., they are involuntary muscles. The movement of skeletal muscles or striated muscles can be controlled by the individual, i.e., they are voluntary muscles.
