Background and context

Feedback mechanisms in the physiological system can be defined as the regulatory system that exists in the body and facilitates it to return to its normal internal state. This whole process is known as homeostasis. The feedback mechanism gets triggered when the body experiences any change. The feedback mechanisms are classified as positive and negative feedback mechanisms.
