Consider the equation x^2-4x-5y^2-10y=25.
a. what is the center of the hyperbola?
b. what are the coordinates of the major axis endpoints?
c. what are the coordinates of the minor axis endpoints?
d. what are the coordinates of the foci?
e. what are the equations of the oblique asymptotes? (give answerin point-slope form)
I do get that I need to complete the square, but somehow the a andb's turn out negative. And so when I need to find out the endpointsof each type of axis, I don't really get how that works..pleaseexplain and put the answer. [:
