What is the answer to this question? The one given seems wrong orincomplete.

If an electric field is defined as the force per unit charge thatwould act on a positive test charge q placed at that point thenwouldn't the electric field from the metal sphere before thepositive test charge be equal to the electric field experiencedwhen the positive test charge is placed near the sphere?

What am I doing wrong?
