The cell chapter is usually near the beginning or mostly in the beginning of any biology book. This is because the cell is always central to the discussion of almost any topic in biology. The cell is the basic structural unit of living organisms. This concept was recognized over a hundred years ago and is now generalized into a basic principle which is all life forms are composed of cells and products of cells .
