Document Summary

Ian is impatient and he is a huge contributor to the success of hollandsworth ltd but is threatening to leave. Also, a key quality of him was being motivated and towards the end you see the motivation begin to die down. Ian is exhausting too much energy towards the ar-42 and does not have time to allocate towards daily operations. In a decentralized structure, it is supposed to promote faster decision making but in this case the structure is not utilized effectively as regional managers are becoming impatient. He should be there to help smoothen things out between regional manager request and hq manager"s approvals. Instead currently, the regional managers are not supported: fix structure of their organization to improve communication and decision making speed. There should be a board that oversees all decisions instead of dutch operations providing their input as the more people involved in the decision making the slower the process.
