Paraphilic disorder is: compulsive sexual interest, fantasies, urges, or behaviour involving: distress or impairment, harm to oneself or others (some are illegal, intensity and persistence, compulsive, demanding, perceived lack of control, inefficiency. Sexual fantasies, urges, or behaviours are recurrent and intense. They have occurred for at least six months. They have negative consequences for the individual (i. e. distress, impairment, or harm to others) Rituals: become a prelude to the act. Sexual fantasies, urges, or behaviours involving nonliving objects with or without a partner. Extreme cases the fetish object is required for arousal or orgasm. Media: material (hard could be leather, soft could be silk) Form: object and its shape (boots, underwear) Cross-dressing used to enhance sexual arousal, or is persistent, compulsive. One of the most harmless and victimless of paraphilia. Sadist: derives sexual satisfaction from inflicting pain, suffering, or humiliation on another. Masochist: sexually aroused by fantasies or behaviours involving begin beaten, humiliated, bound, or tortured.
