Thin walled no crests: rounded vault, weakly projecting ridges. 752 cc (very large, larger than the avg early homo: rounded cranial vault, no heavy crests, robust face: Back teeth still quite large (but < australopithecines) Tool making : correlation with dental reduction and muscle reduction. Manuports: unaltered objects carried some distance before use. Chimpanzees use stones to fight, defense, and opening tools. Materials used are usually not found locally.
