Ex) someone thinking some thing: general terms for behaviour (tradiional point-of-view) These are all general terms to sum up a person"s behaviour. Ex) richard is very intelligent and has a good aitude and personality in school: this statement sums up all his behaviours in the classroom. Ex) class clown isn"t always a rude or disrespecful person. The phrases (cid:3247)personality, moivaion and intelligence(cid:3248) are a kind of behaviour a person displays: these summed up terms for behaviors can have efects on the persons performance. Labelling someone a certain way can efect their performance. Pros: can enhance performance and give the posiively labelled individual a sense of moivaion.
