Most common polygraph: comparison question test (cqt) In assessing accuracy of cqt method, there exists a bias in its results: much better at correctly identifying liars and less identifying truth tellers (tends to see truth tellers as liars) Individual does not have to answer info at all; you just present info to them and watch their response to that info. What the above study shows proportion of individuals correctly identified compared to proportion of guilty individuals correctly identified. We see the proportion of innocent individuals not having guilty knowledge detected is high. Cqt and gkt not only lie detectors people have used. Said there is a number of problems regarding the polygraph test including: Computer analysis may improve accuracy: take away job of scoring polygraph from a person, and allow computer to spit out the results.
